ARU ALMATY 2018 POST-EXHIBITION REPORT

Countries: Armenia, Belgium, Italy, Congo (Africa), Russia, including Yakutia and Dagestan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, as well as Kazakhstan.
Total area: 3000 sq.m.
Visitors: Over 17,000 private and wholesale buyers from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The past exhibition was distinguished by a diverse program, including a jewelry drawing, a contest "The best ARU Jewelry", a seminar on "Promoting the jewelry business in social networks" by the magazine "The Navigator of the Jewelry Trade", meeting organized by the "Kazakhstan Jewelers League", as well as various events and stylized demonstrations of new collections from exhibitors. The exhibition was attended by more than 120 exhibitors, of which about 20 companies exhibited for the first time in Kazakhstan. Among them are companies from Italy - Bronzallure by Milor Goup Distributor and P.V.Z. S.r.l. (Neonero). These companies performed jewelry made of gold in several colors, glazes and special carving surfaces, which always give a lively image to their jewelry in combination with know-how, thanks to the use of the latest technologies. A company from Turkey - Figaro performed a large range of silver chains of various weaving made according to ancient technologies. For pearl lovers, the brand Dame (Russia, Moscow) with all kinds of pearls presented its products for the first time at the exhibition.
This year the last day of the exhibition fell to the celebration of Easter, in connection with which the jewelry of Iordan company (Russia, Kostroma), which produces exclusive Orthodox jewelry, especially pleased visitors during this bright holiday. The amber exposition was supplemented by one more company, Baltiyskie Uzory from Kaliningrad. The Company presented jewelry with a high quality Baltic amber. Among the new companies - Armat (Kazakhstan-Armenia) surprised visitors with an interesting exposition, including the demonstration of jewelry at the stand by models in national Kazakh costumes, which particularly emphasized the direction of the company's activity. There were also companies with watches: the famous Russian watch brand NIKA represented by the official distributor in Kazakhstan - Rosgold Company (Astana); Yerevan Jewelry Factory-1 GNOMON (Armenia, Yerevan), which produces men's and women's watches with Swiss mechanisms ETA, Ronda, the Japanese mechanism Citizen as well as the mechanism of the Russian company Polet; Chrono Trading Astana demonstrated genuine high-quality watches with the mark "SwissMade", being the official distributor of world-famous Swiss and European watch brands such as CLAUDEBERNARD and COVER. The Continent TM represented in Kazakhstan by the company Altyn K, which manufactures and sells watches in a case made of precious metals under the brand name CONTINENT. Once again, a collective exposition of a group of companies from Armenia was organized during the Fair. Armenian jewelers are famous throughout the world for their skills – Bojo TM, Diamant Noir, GevArm, JCA, Mitario Gold, Verona. In addition, visitors of the exhibition had the opportunity to test precious stones and metal at the stand of CCS Services - Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Almaty), that provides delivery, setup and maintenance of express X-ray fluorescence analyzers of jewelry, precious metals. The equipment is made in Switzerland.
As you know, any specialized jewelry exhibition should demonstrate the packaging products for jewelry. Thus, the Exhibition buyers and mainly wholesale buyers had the opportunity to purchase jewelry boxes from the company Giftbox (Kazakhstan, Almaty).
On the second day of the exhibition, a meeting was organized by the "Kazakhstan Jewelers League" where issues important for the jewelry industry of Kazakhstan were discussed.
In addition, within the framework of the exhibition, a seminar on "Promoting the jewelry business in social networks and messengers" was held by the magazine "The Navigator of Jewelry Trade". Participants of the seminar learned how to effectively promote the jewelry company and its products in social networks and messengers. Features and the portrait of the audience of social networks, methods of targeting, formats of advertising in social networks, smart tape, dynamic remarketing, precise methods for evaluating advertising companies in social networks, the rules for creating successful pages and communities, and much more was covered during the seminar. The seminar was performed by the editor-in-chief of the magazine - Oksana Senatorova. "The Navigator of Jewelry Trade" (Russia, Moscow) is the first professional edition on technologies and culture of jewelry sales.
In honor of the ARU anniversary, a contest was organized for the "Best Jewelry of the 30th International Jewellery Exhibition ARU Almaty 2018.
Winners in nominations:
1. Jewellery Classics - Casting House Jewelry Company LLC (Russia, Moscow) for a set with fancy yellow diamonds (bracelet, ring, pendant);
2. Avant-garde and Innovations in Jewelry Design - Sakha Almaz (the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for the "Butterfly" ring;
3. The Best Silver Jewelry - Artak Bodzhikyan IE with Bojo TM (Armenia, Yerevan) for the set "Nur";
4. Preservation and Development of National Traditions in Jewelry Art – Mitario Gold JSC (Armenia, Yerevan) for pendant "Wise woman";
5. For a line of mass production collections - Platina Kazakhstan Jewelry Factory (Kazakhstan, Astana);
THE WINNER OF THE CONTEST for the best jewelry of Aru-Almaty 2018, the Grand Prix owner - Armat Gold (Kazakhstan-Armenia) for the brooch from the collection "Sea Creatures".
One of the favorite and expected events of the ARU exhibition is a Golden Jewelry Box drawing, which pleased all visitors of the exhibition. Every visitor who bought jewelry at the exhibition had the opportunity to win another piece of jewelry. Gold and silver jewelry with various inserts were drawn, and the SUPERPRISE - a gold ring with a diamond was provided by a Goldberry Jewelry Company (Kazakhstan, Almaty).
Once again, the ARU project confirmed its status as the only international specialized Jewellery exhibition in Kazakhstan and throughout Central Asia as well. For the thirtieth time, ARU has become a serious business platform for fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation between manufacturers, distributors and buyers.
